ACCOMMODATIONS/HOTELS

       Tokyo 2010 Accommodations

Tokyo 2010 Delegates have various housing and hotel options, as defined here.  It is the responsibility of each delegate to make and confirm their housing choice, to make sure that the Tokyo Host Committee is aware of each reservation, and to come to Tokyo with a copy of housing confirmations emailed directly from the Tokyo Host Committee or Nippon Travel Agency Co. the designated Tokyo 2010 hotel travel agent.

Option #1:  Private and Church Host Accommodations

Private and Church Host Accommodations are NOT available for delegates from the following countries:  Australia, Canada, Europe (Western), Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan, and the United States.  For Delegates from all other countries [ONLY IF applications have been received by March 1] payment of their $US 150 registration fee  provides an option to stay in Japanese homes with host families on in Japanese churches hosted by church members for a maximum of five nights (Monday through Friday). The assignment of home or church will be at the discretion of the Japan Host Committee based upon available resources.  A typical placement will include typical Japanese futon (mattress) bedding on the floor and a small Japanese breakfast.

Delegates from qualifying countries will be automatically assigned to this housing option, but will be given an opportunity to pay for hotel accommodations per the following options.  Delegates should expect communications from both the International Office and the Japan Host Committee to confirm specific housing and Japan arrival plans.

Option #2:  Tokyo 2010 Recommended Hotels

A choice of seven hotels of varying prices and arrangements are available.  Applicants from Australia, Canada, Europe (Western), Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan, and the United States are responsible to confirm and/or make and pay for their own housing arrangements.
